Hey Frostee, can you just find out for the rest of us Melbournians how soon you could potentially get it? I've been quoted 21 days from departing the ship to in my hands including a safety margin but damn, that's a loooooong time Seeing as we technically bought from the same dealer and their pre-delivery facility is the same one in Campbellfield, would be nice to know how long I should expect to wait because I WILL be taking the day off if the first available day is a weekday!

I know I am in Brisbane and things are different here but my dealer told me yesterday that my car should be available 5-10 days after arrival in port.

ps that means I will have the car before the end of the month...Yahooo!

Good luck, I hope you're right because Melbourne is supposedly the least affected by those slack union workers for Patrick autocare who think that they too are being hard done by at the warfs....

And 13% Superannuation when the rest of us have to settle for 9%. Fair enough, if I was working some of the bulls**t shifts that they have to work for the relatively poor pay, I'd be peeved, but in my opinion this is, what gives them the right to believe that they are entitled to more super contributions from their employer with no increase in productivity?

So they think they are better and more important then I am? Are they more entitled than I am? Does their s**t not stink, do they bleed liquid gold or something???

I've said it once and I'll say it again as an ex-union member:

My car is being transferred today to Bayford's Campbellfield site. Gav's, they tell me they need two days from receipt to prepare the vehicle and then get it to the dealership. I'll be picking mine up on Saturday week.

Good to hear yours is on the final move to the dealer. Maybe mine is the same - has to come up to Sydney though. My dealer was expecting the car this week and was supposed to get back to me to confirm. No word yet though.

Hopefully some more news tomorrow. It is 2 weeks since Tombarra landed and something should be concrete by now..

Please let us know how that goes, you and Gavs have the same stuff I am considering so if it goes on well it will be a big plus for me.

I must admit I am a bit scared of doing it myself though.

Nothing to be scared of, it's really easy. Wash, gently (don't dry) run the claybar over the entire surface of the paintwork without much pressure and just wipe until it's smoothe and you feel no resitance. Us the claybar lubricant as required. Apply the sealany one panel at a time and buff off. You need very little sealant at all a lttle goes a very long way. Easy peasy.

My Friday next week looks pretty quiet at work so am taking the day off and will collect my car in the monting.

Ok, nearing the end of the journey now guys. Confirmed today, I will be picking up the little beasty next Saturday the 11th of June. Could've picked it up mid-week but my better half wants to make it a weekend away from the kids (car is at a country dealership). So, it's going to be a long week, but a ripper weekend Also noticed that APR are having an EOFY sale, thanks Guy....maybe time to raid that Cayman Island account.....again
