my Polo has appeared on the track and trace site! so ridiculously excited!! (i've been without a car since November)
going to be keeping a close eye on the Tombarra for the next couple of weeks!
To give polo GTi people an idea, the cars so far will sit at the factory for 2 weeks before booing a train to Bremerhaven where they will sit for at least a week before going on a boat. Then, expect a 6 week journey to Australia.

yeah i know joe but you know what its like knowing its sitting there!!!!!
Boheme is docked at the moment hoping it makes it on today....
edit: and what makes it worse is cars built AFTER mine are on boats already
Yeah I know the feeling on both counts, but you can't do anything about it I'm afraid, it's frustrating I know. Take a break for a couple of days from this forum, and you might be in for a surprise.
My problem now is trying to find where the hell my boat is The Morning Carol should be docking on the 8th in Durban and still no sign on the tracking site. Hope Capt. Jack Sparrow and his pirates haven't taken her

Because that's wher the polo factory is sorry, couldn't resist they make the 3 door rhd polo in Pamplona and it was probably easier to just add production to one line. They ship out of Bremerhaven because it's the biggest car port in Europe and most of the euro manufacturers already send their stuff on boats out of there.
I think i get what the ETA data i got means now.
My car was built on 4/4, left spain 11/4, and left "Bremerhaven" on a boat to Aus 5/5 to arrive here 15/6.
Which would all make sense going by the amount of time everyone says these steps take.
Perhaps the tracking site doesn't update their data all the time? Do they still operate like normal on weekends i wonder?
