What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

Had H&R 25/40 springs and Whiteline swaybar installed today. Aside from looking so much better stance-wise, the car just sat flat-as through corners that had it leaning hard and understeering previously. Definitely money well spent On the down side Brisbane's crap roads make themselves felt a bit more, but nothing I can't live with. Wouldn't go 35/55 springs though, the ride is now firm enough for me. Looking forward to a good punt out in the countryside this weekend, and hopefully a tune in the near future (subject to a bit of software work, it seems I have a new ECU in my 77tsi).

Some photos after a twisty road fang and a much needed wash. I'm thinking I need to invest in some wheel spacers, the drop in ride height has highlighted how much the wheels are inset from the arches. What do you guys think? Is anyone out there running spacers with the boavistas? If so what size spacers (15, 20, 25mm)?

Aside from spacers being an instant canary here in VIC, you better check your regulations up there in banana country for a start. Otherwise, I would look at 15mm, that should pull them out enough to not smack into the guards under full suspension compression

A good point well taken, I've checked and it seems the fun police up here don't like the idea of spacers either. Oh well, added incentive to save up for some sweet rims with the right offset I guess.

Have gone a bit crazy buying Nanolex products. Now i just need the car so I can test them all out!

Although, picked up the Amarok late last week so may need to test them out on that befor the GTI arrives

Went to dinner in Leichhardt and when I came back to the carpark I could smell electrical fire.

A 7 series nearby was still smouldering …unfortunately the security guard who put out the fire had a bad aim with the extinguisher and managed to completely cover the surrounding cars with shyte

wash your car asap man, that dry powder stuff can etch paint. While not as potent as a fire bomb in a racecar, that stuff can cake on and be nigh on impossible to remove

Monza shadow rims, I thought so you can buy them from the UK, just search via google or Ebay and message the vendor asking them for the approximate weight per wheel so you may find out the OEM weight to make sure you have a balanced vehicle. Also country of manufacturing as some countries like China/Taiwan use cheap and unsafe alloys.
