Cheers guys. As good as the wheels look in the photo...its hard to see the real detail of the spoke design. The time attack lines also match the grill perfectly which was the intention.

On another note, I was driving on the Ring rd last night where Geelong rd merges in, and this terd on green P plates in a 2 tonne trady truck enters, cuts across 3 lanes and drops smack bang in between me and the car infront in the right lane. After giving him the air fist, he then pulls across left one lane to let me past, proceeds to drop back in right behind me and sit half a metre off my ass for the next 4 km until I exited onto Ballarat rd.

I managed to see through the mud covering his rego number so I'm gonna play dobber today and ring the cops. However I'm sure nothing will come of it but flogs like this shouldn't be on the roads.

        • Ditto, about the wheels! I reckon they'd look great on a black one, too... Fantastic!

                  • Thanks all for the compliments.

Tigga, I knew someone is going to ask the question about weight. Unfortunately I have no idea, because I picked it up from the post office and took it straight to the tyre shop each time (it came in two shipment as it was too bulky to send as one and they came 5 days apart for whatever reason). Both times I contemplated bringing it home to weight it first but failed to do so as I couldn't be bothered. I can tell you that it's lighter as you feel it in the steering feel. How much lighter I just don't know. Sorry.

If it's of any interest to you, I weighed my Denvers (with tyres) against my Gram Lights before I sold them and weight difference was 7kg a corner. Seriously, the handling difference in the front end is amazing.

Next move is the DNA tune.

For me...I don't think any photo can do it justice. The car really does look superb in the flesh and it feels just awesome with the new springs.

Wow! That looks insane! I can't wait till my wheels arrive black on white looks so good!

                          • At Volkspower right now getting my APR tune
Reason I chose this tune over the others is because I wanted the switching and lockout features. And because of the sale it was only just over 1k so not that much different from the other tunes.

                              How long did it take?

I think it's the best "bang for buck" mod for sure.
The amount of power and torque you get for the tune is quite amazing.
I've had ecu's "flashed" in a lot of my previous cars but nothing gave the increase in power like with the Polo GTI.
Really makes you think why they released it with such a moderate tune? I guess it needs to appeal to all types.
It took just over an hour (they were pretty busy though)
The winter sale ends tomorrow, but it will most likely come back say Volkspower.
