  • Let's just say it's officially a part of the blurt club, there is a lot more bass if you roll off the throttle just before a gear change (DSG) it won't only blurt...but it makes a sweet deep brrrppphhh...see typing can't justify how great it is!

Also video, will work on it don't have anything as of yet i could rig up inside the cockpit or small enough to put on the rear to listen to the sound.

      • Picked mine up this morning, drove it out of the car yard and then sat in traffic for 40 minutes trying to get to work which would normally take about 10 thanks to VicRoads shutting down the Monash.

Can happily say the Polo performs well up to 20km/h! Roll on 5pm already...

          Haha!

I've noticed the other day that on the speedo the lines up to 40km/h is every 5km/h and then 10km/h for every line over 40. (This was probably in the car manual :S )

            • Just went Platinum - little fiddly to get the headlight moulding out, but the cables are long enough to allow all the bulbs to be changed without disconnecting the cables too.

Finished job looks great - nice degree of white.

Added: took this at 7am this morning - you can see the 'whiteness' on the right of the main reflector, and the standard 'yellowness' of the side lamp on the right hand edge. It looks all white and no blue to me.

Have ordered LED replacements for the side lights.

What is everyones thoughts on the best petrol, I used Caltex Vortex 98 because the Caltex was on the way to where I was going but have BP and Shell also on the way to work.

I use Shell Premium, been using it for years. Only reason I use Shell is because Ferrari uses Shell

                          • BP Ultimate for me.

In other news, I picked up my car from the panel beater today. Door all fixed and ready for coilover and sways sometime in the next couple of weeks.

                            • After years of V-Power decided to try BP Ultimate and have never gone back.
I also understand from a friend who does drift racing that V-Power actually "goes off". It seems the additive has a short shelf life.
For me, the proof was in the pudding.

But I must say fuel economy was better with V-Power though.

Any ideas/Suggestions? i want to steer clear of the GTI look so i guess the first link may be negligable.
