  • The guy I bought mine from was from China, he only had the red ones but thats nothing a little vinyl won't fix

Im sure the debate is coming from the guys who paid triple for the same thing.

From memory Gavs has these ones so he could give you an insight into them until I hook them up.

Edit: just had a search online, there has been some debate about the ebay ones and the ones from the US for $130~. Would love to hear how they go!

I got the same ones. There pretty solid once stuck on but there too thick. When you try to place your finger tips on in a hurry you hit the stalks. Would consider the machined direct replacements but I've hardly used these ones so will prob take em off.

Got my ultraleggras on today but no pics untill its lowered as the guard gap doesn't do the wheels justice.
And will have to find a nice spot with good light. Can't see the detail properly using a phone.

              • Painted the dealer provided number plate surrounds to all black. Not that I don't like the dealer, just don't like the writing all over - looks much neater now.

Also just deactivated the daytime headlights.

                • ^what car are those rims from. Look great, very similar to a R32. Im not a fan of many spokes but some look good. The R32 and the new WRX Premium has rims alike (bar the R32 been 18" and the WRX 16-17")

Nice choice, cant wait to see them fitted!

                  • Nice wheels, what specs?

Wrapped my budget DSG paddles in matte black to get rid of the poxy looking red dribble and installed them. Havn't had a chance to try them out yet.

                      • They look much better without the red stuff all over it!

I find they sometimes get in the way when driving spiritedly. Saying that though they give you more room to change gears cause you have a bigger + and - button and they're pretty sturdy as well. You're able to hit anywhere on the paddle and it still has that button feedback you get without them.

                            • Had my new tyres fitted today, f**kers chipped some of the powder coating around the edge, about 5mm. Everything else is good. But I'll still complain about the arch gap. Before, I had 225/40 front and 235/40 rear, these filled the arches a lil bit but also raised the car some. Now I'm back to stock spec and that rear arch gap shames me. Anyone want to lend me some money to buy coils overs?

Coilovers won't help the issue...they'll only emphasize it even further...especially when you go lower.
