What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
Took my Thule wingbars off last night, amazing difference in fuel economy.
with 428kms clocked up on the tank of fuel in the car (filled with the roof bars on) avg economy: 7.9L/100km (was 8.1 with kayak carriers installed). After removing the bars, a 24km run up the eastern freeway resulted in an economy drop to 7.6L/100kms. not much you might say, but that drop was purely from taking the bars off.
Filled up with the usual BP Ultimate, run to work this morning, fuel economy down to 6.7L/100kms already on this tank, 32kms of which 24 is freeway, the rest, general main-road stop and start stuff.
These are the best bars on the market for fuel economy and it just shows how much your aerodynamic profile changes with roof bars on the car!
Haha cheers mate, but I'll only be selling them as a whole (bumper included) as its too much of a headache...and again that's if I do decided to get the R20 Bumper Bar xD

Out of interest what's your speed average? Im lucky to get under 10l/100 but my average speed is 30k/hr in pretty much stop start traffic to and from work every day. Beats the 15l/100 my old commodore used to get but not by much haha

I finally got around to fixing the rattling/creaking due to the door felt/rubber. Went to Bunnings last night to pick the 4mm irrigation tubing. Cost me around $5 for 25m.
And it was as simple as feeding the tubing through the gap between the felt and rubber.
It's pretty much fixed the 95% of the creaking. A few here and there, but definitely not as noticable and prominent as before.
Just felt like sharing in case anyone didn't know there was a fix out there for us Polo owners
You amazing person you - This has been my only gripe with the car since I got it.. Will be doing this Friday night!
P.S has anyone fitted the smokey LED taillights seen below to a grey \ darker Polo? I want to see them before I shell out $300! Smoked Black LED Tail lights for VW Volkswagen Polo Hatch 10-13 Taillight | eBay

I got them to give it a dino run after and got 119 Kw off the tyers, i dont know what the stock numbers are off the tyers.
i still need to do some 0-100 to see what that has become.
