What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

I have received quotes for spraying the R20 style bumper....however

Two of the spray painters have advised me not to go ahead and not buy an aftermarket bodykit...

Can I ask why not?

as I have no experience with aftermarket kits, the moffat and RSR are based on race engineered bolt on fibreglass kits...not exactly aftermarket

I have no knowledge on the guys making the front bar you got as per quality etc but a lot of kits need to be test fitted to check they they work and sent back if not right. Sometimes during the manufacturing the can twist slightly while setting/ drying. They look fine to the naked eye but can be a pain to fit and not line up properly. I had a kit from taloon for a EL falcon which they suggested to test fit. took the sprayers and told them to test before spraying whichnthey agreed to. when i went to pick it up the rear bumper didnt aligned properly and the said it was as good as they could get it. i showed taloon and they said if i had of returned it unpainted the would have exchanged it. so i complained to the sprayer and he eventually got a new one sprayed and it was a perfect fit. If you buy local and and test fit its easy to swap but if you go straight to painting and then fit you can't return it. There probly saying this because its going to be hard for you to return if its not right or there maybe inherent issues/problems with changing polo bits. Would have to ask them why there saying no.

Super black tinted windows - you can't see a thing from the outside.
DNA - Software upgraded to stage 1
Pedal box
Downpipe
R-type rims
Rear vortex bumber
Front vortex lip
Added some led to the interior light.
Customized number plate.

Next on my list to do is:
New fog lights and headlights with LED and Zenons.
New front grill and badge.

Played around with my car in PhotoShop and it shows how I would dream my car to be.....if I only had some extra coin

I just love those BBS hush puppies, but I would imagine they would be in excess of $4K to buy....at least dreams are pretty cheap!

I've added some enhanced window tinting to add a bit of bling, even though I don't have it nor believe in it....enjoy!!!

got the back half of my roof wrapped this morning, and ordered a smaller antenna, might have to think of something new to do shortly to it. Thinking of coilovers perhaps..?

over the last couple of weeks ive:-
changed the GTI badges for some red ones
had the windows tinted
and changed the inside globes for some blue led ones
also just ordered the sharan aerial from dub adiction

Did I start something? A few people had them before. Then I got one and put some pics up now everyone wants one.

Also about to get some new wheels for the polo. Should have them by the end of next week. Stay tuned for some test fit pics.
