    It would be easily sorted if VW reduced the options/combinations available and if buyers said "sorry, a 6 month wait for a fricken Polo is ridiculous... i'll buy something else"
    I remember this well & walked out shaking my head and returned 12 months later & placed an order. It took only 4 months to deliver a new built-to-order Porsche, I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for the waiting period, but it sure doesn't make the purchase attractive.

      You can walk into a Renault dealer... order a new Megane RS 250 specced as you want (2 models, recaros, leather, hid and choice of 7 colours) and it is a 12 week wait which sounds about right. 6-9 months for a polo is not right.
