fuel? isnt that normal for all brand new car. I got a full tank for my last gti (I never asked), but the only question now is WHAT fuel will they be putting? 95 or 98 can't tell can you!

No demo, it was just a stocked model. It had 48kms on the clock.

I have a technique that I have used many times before when buying a new car that never fails to get me a good price. I must say though, that buying a car that is in such high demand as the one I was after did make it a lot trickier than all other new cars I have bought.

Can anyone give a realistic estimate on delivery time for the 77 TSI with options?

Well, I bought mine in mid Jan and they told me that it wouldn't be delivered until August. I wanted a red 77TSI, 5 doors, DGS, Comfort Pack, Sports Pack. They did a bit of searching in their system and said that they found one coming over in mid April with all those options but it also has an Audio Pack, so I went with that one and paid a little more.

The more choices you give them (car colour, options) then the more likely you'll be able to get one sooner. If you're stubborn on the options then you may have to wait a long time.

I like the look of the pepper grey. I was looking at DSG with sports pack as minimum option but preferably with the audio and comfort packs.

66 is under the bonnet in kW, 77 is in my name as aspiration for the chip upgrade to tweak the engine - there's thinking, and there's knowing what you got.
