when did you stitch that deal up? We went for the same spec, and have to wait until bloody November. Ours was ordered nearly 6 weeks ago.

We ordered ages ago and I just got the chassis/engine numbers. I believe its in handover to production or something and due to arrive at the dealer mid-late September.

This deal honestly mate...i did it yesterday With the fellas at Denlo Volkswagen (Parramatta, NSW) and she is leaving the boat yard overseas on the 10th August, then waiting for customs,compliancy etc etc

SO my mum likes a Polo. VW website says RRP for a 77TSI Comfortline 5 door DSG is $25316 d/a in Sydney. Say she went for flat red paint, floor mats, boot net and nothing else, does $23k seem reasonably achievable? She won't value anything else coming from a Festiva Trio auto. Presume PULP only real world usage in the high 6.xL/100kms? She's 60 this year so insurance is 3/5 SFA, servicing would be the only other cost. Anyone get a scheduled service price schedule for the first 3 years? She's single and earns a modest income in hospitality, so these things will be important to her. Contrasting with a Jazz ($4k extra for an auto! but spacious), i20 (new, good warranty, yet to drive) and a Fiesta (handles well, a little slow in base spec).

Well i got quite a bit in my car for $26,500, i would possibly try and attack the dealer delivery charges as they can work on that figure a lil bit for you.

It;s best you research different dealerships and keep your cards close to your chest. Best of luck with the research but honestly the polo considering the car market what we have in Australia is a steal for its quality/safety features but don't take my word for it

Thanks, mum has preferred the Honda Jazz, but FYI we got to a 77TSI DSG Comfortline with flat paint to $23500 delivered ($22000 neat with her trade - a 12 year old Fiesta trio with faded paint - originally valued at $1000, changed to $1500 as part of negotiations). McGrath's Sutherland. And if Sales guy Clinton is reading this you had her mate, but you lost it. And this IS a true price - he told me you were all liars with your posted prices who were trying to make me and others feel bad.

Anyone wants a MKV GTI with just 25000kms I'm selling one in the for sale section. Thanks.

which puts your purchase price exactly the same as mine (if you add the Sports Pack and MDI/RCD Upgrade to your price). So....I hope the sales guy is looking convincingly and longingly into your eyes as you get "yanked"..because you're not doing any better than any one else.

Bottom line...there is only $500 in the rrp of the Polo for the dealer.

Um how do you figure that? KWICK's price has an RRP of $25,389 driveaway according to the VW website for my postcode. Not sure about your maths, but that's almost $1900 off the RRP to me and a pretty good deal?

How do you know if KWICKS has given you the full bottom line as far as price is concerned. Does it include stamp duty etc etc?

My info comes from reliable VW Australia sources.

He did say delivered, so I take that as driveaway. In any case, I don't know where you get your "reliable" info but there is definately more than $500 in it. We did better than that, easily.
