2010 Polo Drive Away Prices. Share what you ended up paying.

ordered 2011 77 TSI Polo manual Flash Red with Sport Pack, mats, and front tints for 25k. i thought got a decent deal until i went and saw this thread

hey Babs, "official" prices for Polo have gone up since last year and demand appears to be huge for limited stock (look at how long we are all waiting). I'm also waiting for a 2011 TSI manual, reflex silver, bluetooth, mats, weather-shields and on-road costs for just under $23K. should be ready within a couple of weeks.
BTW, anyone who's tracking arrivals in Melbourne... Apparently there was a ship docked 21/22nd this month (don't know it's name). Any ideas when those little beasties will be ready for pick-up?

anyways my rant is over. haha.

currently ride a 96 dahaitsu charade.. it's been good to me but it's time to move on.

it will definately be the biggest upgrade. from no power steering to power everything

I upgraded from a 94 charade. Although it did have power windows and stearing, the jump to the 77TSI Polo was still huge. So many little features they don't advertise and are just standard in the Polo. Absolute quality! Well done on the purchase.

There will always be others who gets a better deal than you....and also you will have got a better deal than others.
Don't worry about it. You're getting a great little car and to top it off, there's only about a 2.5 month wait for yours

Hehe nice Schibs i've youtubed the heck out of the polo and all the reviews says that for a vw, for that price is an absolute steal. a refined quality that doesn't cost a fortune.

yeah i know. maybe could've gotten the sunroof to go with it....definately no regret about the purchase though.

after reading about the others and especially the people who ordered the gti, don't get their car til next year! i couldn't believe it. so yeah extremely pleased that it's only a short wait for me.

Oh yeah!!! definitely agree. - My husband is getting tired of me behaving like a 4 year old... Instead of "are we there yet?" - It's "why isn't it here yet?"; "when will they ring?"; "I want it now"

Definitely. Someone up there was smiling down on me and rewarded me for my willingness to wait 11 months for my car.

As I parked in the car park this morning, got a bit of a surprise when 2 of my work colleagues turned up in the same car park just behind me. One of them now wants a Polo after seeeing mine

My mother just took delivery of the same spec as your car apples. It looks FANTASTIC and drives great too. Even when I was visiting on the weekend, neighbours were coming up to look at the car as soon as the garage door opened, lol. Having a Golf R with sunroof, I'm pretty jealous of mum's panoramic sunroof. So awesome.

Yep, looks awesome with that black panoramic sunroof. I wanted that sunroof so much that I was willing to wait for delivery in Feb next year (11 month wait). Actually got delivery on 5 July - so it was just under a 4 month wait

strangely, I haven't seen any around my part of Melbourne. Have seen a few Golfs, but no Polo's. (another thread on sightings hasn't mentioned any this way either (Waverley area)). Would love to see one "in the flesh" on the road.

Ha ha, the reason you probably haven't seen any Baska, is cause like us, they are in the waiting queue If you happen to be visiting the Ringwood area, you may see a candy white GTI flash past you, owned by one of the Forum members on here.....
