How could you tell when your clutch was slipping? Are there early symptoms.

Slowly approach a corner in D, making sure the car is in D2, it will be until you stop due to the VW idiot software programmers. Go as slowly as you can as you start rolling through the corner, then feed in about 30-50% throttle. If you get any shudder, your clutches need replacing.
Once you make the technique work, it's easy to replicate for a dealership.sigpic

Abs activating at low speed could be due to problems with the wheel speed sensors. Have seen a few dirty ones.

Coasting till in D2 and then jumping on the throttle was one way to get it to slip and instantly the service manager was convinced there were problems with the clutch and even reassured me that it would be replaced under warranty...
On a side note, also got them to check for a rattle, the service manager heard it and upon picking up the car was noted that it was fixed but its still there.

Happened three times in a row. No noticeable issue with acceleration or shaking, but the rattling sound. The obvious question: is this normal?
Or the fuel lines...
