The Silver looks great. I've ordered white in the GTI and after seeing your pics I struggle to decide what I prefer. MInf you, I'm not messing around with colours - I have a build date in the sytem and I'm not about to mess with it lol

Just picked up my Black 5 door GTI last night. First impressions are good but definitely needs a brake upgrade. Thinking about an APR stage 1 chip treatment and window tinting next week.

AFAIK the APR Chip isn't available yet for the new Polo GTI.

Maybe Guy_H can shed a bit more light on it.

Just heard from dealer that my 77TSI Flash Red with Comfort Pack, Sports Pack, Audio & B/tooth has finally landed with them, get to pick it up Mon 28th Feb, exactly 6 months to the day from ordering it! Will be a top day, just happens to be my birthday as well...

Great to see pic's of other peoples rides, will post somw when mine lands in my driveway, or maybe from beach shots on way home....

Just took delivery of my first Volkswagen; 6R Polo TDI. I fully factory optioned the car and am quite impressed [Given that I hadn't seen a fully optioned one].

First impressions: I know there are split opinions but the upgraded seats but they are really good, and being Tasmanian the seat warmers were a nice addition to the drive home. We only drove the base manual TDI before ordering; the sports pack suspension is a lot harder than I remember on the base model. The DSG is nice and appears to be well matched to the engine. The engine is quite tight so it is quite slow at the moment, but hopefully once it loosens up it will perform a little better off the line; once it gets going it is fine.

Just drove home in my grey TSi DSG...gorgeous.

Dealer was tops. Car is whisper quiet even around the 140km mark ... Sat nav pointed me homeward, blue toothed iPhone playing the music, handsfree talking to my wife at home. Avg 111km / hr with 6.5lt per 100.

So tight, and trackable...comfy and snug.

Did someone say smug?
