Well my Polo has officially changed to black, feeling a lot better about the colour now. Last thing I wanted was to splash out on a new car and be indifferent about the looks.

Still considering spending the little extra for a GTI/118TSI but we'll see what happens.

Funny thing is, getting my plates registered... i parked next to a Red 77TSI sports out at Greenslopes QLD

Yessss, Got my Polo this morning. Had to wait a month for delivery (customs took 2 weeks to release car and VW had to do the other stuff.

Very impressed with the car.

Anyone adding amps & subs to their stock RCD 310 unit?

Replace the head unit! You won't regret it.

I do want ot replace the unit. But where can I get a cover/fascia to fit with the new unit?

hmm, I'll check it out, but I do think that I will need to replace the fascia around the radio.

Anyone here replaced their units? Can you upload some if you did?

Did you read that thread? It has pictures in it, part numbers, where to order it from. Everything you need to fully replace it with a aftermarket head unit.

I must be blind. I did find the thread on how to remove the radio (done that ) but didn't see anything about part numbers & where to get it from.
