    In the picture. Are battery terminal like metal plates fuses? If so I can seem to get them out. Any advice on how to check the ABS fuse?

    Yes, they are fusible links. That fusebox does not match your other post; you said you had a 2009 - 2012 Polo, but that matches the 6C ~2014 model.

        508 would be the battery input by the looks of it; fusible links melt when failing, so they all look good from your photo.

        Use the linked PDF to look for the fuses that have to do with the ABS unit if that's what you're trying to do.
