hello everyone,
I have a Volkswagen polo 2013 1.2 engine and done only 47000 km.
Engine light came on 8 times in the last 6 months
I took it Volkswagen Osborne park in Perth everytime this happened.
I paid huge repair and service fee for this. They previously changed spark plugs 2 times, carbon clean up, and throttle service due to epc warning light issue.
In the last 6 weeks epc light came on 4 times. Almost Every single week. Everytime this happens, car stays with them 2 to 3 days.
I picked up my car , they said we changed the spark plusg.next week car starts shaking and epc again.
Took it Osborne park, they said cylinder 4 misfire and we fixed the issue.5 days later ,as of today, i am driving on the highway epc light came on again.car shakes and not much power.
I took it to them today, manager said exactly this "good news . It is cylinder 4 again and this time we will look into it in details, removed the coil packs to different cylinder and first time they gave me a loan car.
When this happened today, car was jerking during acceleration and i knew it was going to shake and it did after 30 minutes
This has caused so much money and stress for us. And they just couldn't fix this. I used their recommended fuel which is 98 octane.
However , when i accelerate, car makes coughing sound and epc light comes on, shakes..
Can anyone advise me what i should do. Car is with them again and i really dont want to pay again and i want to be compensated for all these stress and inconvenience caused by them.
