2010 GTI battery finally needs replacing

I have a new Varta D15 battery for the Polo GTI, can't find if I will need to code the details, or if the 2010 GTI is pre battery control.

I suspect it is pre control but would like to be sure.

And yes, I did a search but didn't find anything.

Dont know about the GTI but Battery world did a new battery in the Comfortline and if I remember correctly he attached a box and did something

I had mine done recently by them too. They plugged in a small power supply to keep all the clocks and things humming along why they removed the battery. I've seen ones that attached to the lighter socket or other places used over the years even in older cars.

Not that was after he installed it like you do with the stop start batteries to tell car it is new and computer alters the charging rate
