Map & firmware updates for GTI 6R

Hi All

Below are the current details for the system information, Is there a way that I can check if there are any updates for the maps and firmware and update it myself? I had my Golf GTI 7.5 15000k service today and it took 5 hours, which mostly was for the update, according to the dealer.
