How to source a spare key

Hi All,
I am sure this is discussed on the forum somewhere previously, but I cant track it down.
Is there a cost effective way of getting a second key and remote for my 2010 Polo TDI?

It was advertised with two, but when I showed up to complete the purchase they couldn't locate the second key..

Any Automotive Locksmith should be able to make a copy of your key.
