Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Looking for a good garage/service centre in Darwin for a 15,000 km log book service on a 81TSI Polo.
    Not interested in paying the exorbitant rates the dealers want to charge and only one up here so not much room for negotiation! thanks in advance

    I highly recommend C & H Auto (Wayne is the man), opposite Supercheap in Berrimah
    Not flash outside, but they are great mechanics, all car nuts. & do race cars too.
    Being going there 2 years now after rubbish service from dealer.
    Cheaper too
