DiscoverCare only shows 0076 to me. Am I missing something?

discovercare hasn’t ticked over yet. My gut feel is that it’s a date formatting issue - wait until 6th or 7th of July and try again.

Just go here Pick your model Pick your MIB and download the required map Unzip it to a folder Put contents of folder in the ROOT directory of an SD card and away you go

Okay I just tried this and heres what I got. Using discover care 1.04 I ended up with ROW 76

BY doing what i said above and NOT USING Discover care i got ROW79 on 3 different attempts

So just download it and do as I said and you end up at the same point by a different route

Inserting the card into a slot gives me a message that software update is available.
Though update process searches for a while and ends up with "Error: no data available. Please insert a source with software update data or check the source."
SanDisk Ultra MicroSD 32GB (tried with an SD adapter and Kingston USB reader).

Yes, I've tried both SD slots as well as USB slot between the seats.

Is it the correct version for your car.
One is 4GB the other 22GB, my Passat Alltrack 2017 need the 2015 22GB version

Did you select correct year for your Tig
Is the same map as I just tried it so you are doing something wrong

Extract to a folder
Copy CONTENTS of the folder to root directory of SD card and the root directory will look like my pic.

If you copy the WHOLE FOLDER over it wont find it Been there found that out

It's Passat not Tig ... but yes the archive looks to be correct. Extracted and copied as required.
As I said, when inserting the media into unit it says update is available, while update button in setup can't find it.

Read what i posted carefully as if you copy the WHOLE FOLDER you extracted to to the Sd card it WONT WORK

You only copy the CONTENTS of it The screenshot is of the contents of the extracted folder on the SD card and is the ROOT DIRECTORY of the card
