Hi all,
From the day I bought my used 2016 Passat B8 Highline I am facing an annoying issue regarding missing ASR-ESP tab from CAR menu and a GTE skin with e-power management shown in the same CAR menu - but my Passat is diesel, 1.6 TDI...
With VCDS in "03 ABS BRAKES" I changed byte 29 value from A2 to 05, like below, but nothing is changed:
ESP on Car Menu
Select Control unit 03 ABS BRAKES
Control unit long coding
Byte 29
New Value 05
In Control unit 5F Information Electr. long coding - I changed byte 17 from value 03 in 01 - user interface Highline skin and byte 18 to 00 - none or not supported skin (or something like this, I quote from memory)
Then, of course, hard reset of the sistem... power button pressed for ten seconds...
But I still have this ugly e-manager button on my display and nothing seems to remove it from there..
Any suggestions, please?
