Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the Audi thermal imaging camera setup can be fitted into the B8 Passat? Or if there is an after market unit that will marry up with the B8 dash or entertainment unit? Any pointers would be appreciated!
    TIA

You mean night vision? I do not think there is a mount in the front bumper for it in this generation.

Only the newest Toureg has it.

        Hey Kamold
Sorry for the dumb question but does this mean it’s not possible in the B8 Passat?

Ok thanks Kamold. Do you know if there might a way of fitting it up separate, like a stand alone only accessing power?
