Thanks for the update Kamold and Petemac110. Have just picked up a B8 2017 TDI Passat with high LED's but unfortunately the left headlight's low and high beam are not working and after replacing the power module (7PP.941.572.AB) the outside light beamisn't working so picked up a headlight complete for $1,000 AUD. (still throwing error codes 'U117000' and 'C108131' with message "LED headlamp power output stage".

After I have get this working, I'll use my VCDS and follow the instructions onActivate Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) - from MY 2017 - AS.Coding (ascoding.ch) and see how we go.

I know it's been mentioned here and elsewhere but it is wild to know that Volkswagen put the capabilities in the hardware and software but didn't include it with these cars. I do wonder how much it would have cost from factory to option in 'DLA'.

Hello all!

I have a Passat B8 MY15. I tried to activating the DLA with VCDS following these instructions:
Activate Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) - up to MY 2017 - AS.Coding

After the coding, adaptation, basic settings, soft resetting the Discover Pro main unit, I have a strange problem.
I DON'T HAVE HIGH BEAMS NEVER.

In the "Car--> Setup --> Light settings menu" I can select the "Light Assist" (not Dynamic Light Assist).
When the light switch is in Auto position and I push the lever towards front, I got a "Light Assist Fault" message. If I coding in module A5 byte 21, bit 5-7 to "20 Light Assist (AFS) - High Beam Assist (HBA)" and push the lever towards front there are no fault message and the "A" symbol is turning on at the instrument cluster.
With this settings above, when I drive at night above 60 km/h and nobody come in front of me, the blue high beam icon turned on, when someone come it turns off, when passed turns on again. But the HIGH BEAM never turned on exactly from the headlamps.
If I try to turn on manually by pushing or pulling the lever, it only turns on the blue high beam icon on the instrument cluster, but the light is remain on main beam.
When the light switch is on "0" positon and I pull the lever to activate the high beam light horn it only light the main beam.

I hope it is understandable as I wrote.

Anyone could some help in this "no high beam" problem?

Yes it needs correct parameters as well as coding and adaptations

Hello. I have read this topic. You write that I need the appropriate parameters for module 55 so that AFS works properly. How do I get them? I have DLA coded but the light sequence has not changed. I have the impression that my lights do not cut out the cars in front of me correctly. My car is a Passat B8 2016 light module 55. How do I contact you? Regards
