Swapped out my AT wheel and tyre combo for the OG 18” Canyons as my baby is off to the assessor in 2 days. Not giving away near new tyres if I can help it.
Also stopped by a dealer on the way to the NYE fireworks to drool over possible replacements should it be a write off.

Realized after fitting all 4 wheels the other day and headed up to the servo for a pressure check that I had put the wheels on backward (rotation incorrect)
Oh well, she’s off to the assessor today so will be fine for the short trip.
It’s a 50/50 call. A few folks in town have had damage less severe and received write offs for similar valued cars, while others have been lodged for repair in a worse state. Seems to depend on insurer.
