Park assist pla 1.5 anybody?

Hi all I'm having trouble with my park assist install ,I have wired everything up and up to the coding stage .I have 1t0 919 475 m module and vcds can read it but cant do a single code it says -this appears to be an uninitialized control module click yes no or cancel (yes is use default values of 12345 123 12345) I click yes and I get -coding rejected error 31 ?? Has anybody successfully installed pla 1.5 ?

What coding are you trying to apply? Just try putting in the most basic string you can (whatever is closest to 00000000 or whatever) and apply. Then try and change to your correct settings.

Just trying to code new module for ops,rvc,automatic transmission stuff like that but wont accept a single code .strange that it can communicate with the module and when I swap over back to standard ops module it can code to what ever on default values.also the new park assist button works and shows in the cluster screen so I was thinking maybe my abs module is too old and doesn't support pla 1.5??

Ive got park assist in my car and have used it once in 5 years.

I found it wasnt as accurate as it was supposed to be and find it quicker to use my mirrors and rear view camera.
Even the lines on the reversing camera arent as accurate as they should be. If I backed up till the red line was on a cars bumper behind me I would have hit it.

Eyes and mirrors for me Im afraid.

I'm hearing you but I still like the challenge and I think it's a cool feature even if I don't use it ,anyway I'm kind of committed my car is in bits at the moment

maybe I need a older PLA module like the 1t0 919 475 G or H first of the PLA 1.5 ? OR even the 1t0 919 475 B which is PLA 1.0 out of 08 passats? mine was just the original 8 sensor with no ops or park assist. anyway here are my faults.

Maybe you need the passat version. 1T0 might not work.. try a 3AA like 3AA 919 475 L which is what i have with park assist on a 2013 b7 passat.

I'd say hardware same, different software, i couldn't code out ebrake error so i just got the skoda unit.

ok got a update I have got parallel park assist to work ! what I used was a module from a touran 1t0 919 475 b ,I think the 1t0 modules are for any mk5 and the module is a B version so is compatible with my abs and accepted coding but I think its only PLA 1.0. If I was to try for PLA 1.5 they start from 1t0 919 475 g onwards which might work but happy I got this to work so anyway tomorrow off to my local smash repair to get new sensors painted then ill post a video of the finished product working
