Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
I wouldnt say 08 was more prone to dsg issues, like the majority of dsg's it can just be the luck of draw. Had my 08 for 4 years and have only ever had one single issue being autobootlid latch failing. Some cars can be gems and some are just lemons. I feel like the value of my 08 has just dropped significantly due to people giving negative info that they cant back up on.
I know months have passed, but my 2008 r36 has been amazing. Nearly no issues, i had the air con fixed no big issue and fuel gauge not working fixed. Otherwise the car has been faultless. Its my daily drive 9years old with 140k klms on the clock and is a pleasure to drive. I have owned it from new and sevice it on time. (Might help)
[QUOTE=owen010101;1213377]In the market for an R36 Wagon..
Hi guys,
I am looking at purchasing a MY10.5 R36 wagon in Biscay Blue with 224xxxkm on the clock. Are these kms way too high or should I go for it? The price is reflective of the high kms as well.

It's a lot of kms on a MY10.5 - probably a lot of country driving. You need to know what service items have been replaced - DSG clutch and timing chain? Get it inspected by an independent specialist and if they give it the green light and you go ahead with the purchase then pay for the dealer's 12 month warranty as you may need it....

Awesome thanks for the advice. I had it checked out by RACQ and was given the green light!
I have purchased and am the brand new owner of an R36! Looks like I have a lot of reading to do... There is so much to learn.
