Windscreen washer system losing fluid - help please

My windscreen washer system is losing fluid with a few drips sometimes visible under the car. The leak is very slow so I'm hoping it's something simple like a loose hose rather than a split bottle which I understand is located in the front bumper. Has anyone had this problem? Would appreciate advice on the best place to start looking. Thanks.

I had a similar issue. My leak was a fast one though and the spray nozzles were not spraying as effectively. It was the discharge hose from the pump. It's a little black corrugated hose. I glued it back together and haven't had any issues since. It was a bit of a bugger to get at though. The front right half of the bumper needs to come off.

Thanks Domatron. I'll check that black corrugated hose first. I've been researching this a bit more and it seems a number of owners have had trouble with the rubber gasket/seal around the pump.

VWVortex.com - Any one else have a leaking windsheild washer reservoir ?

Before I take the front off the car, I'm going to see what I can access from underneath and from the right front wheel well with the inner plastic liner removed.

You might be able to get to the pump with removal of the undertray and lower inner guard liner.

They're a cow of a thing to remove the whole washer bottle. Heaps of hidden bolts and nuts.

Thanks for the tip Umai Naa!! Removing the undertray and lower inner guard provides great access. The washer bottle is not in the bumper bar at all. Now I've just got to make the damn thing leak. Filled it up and everything's dry with no leaks!
