Why not ring some differential specialists & get a price on a rebuild?

It's not bad he wants $1200. But he can't confirm if it will fit.

Can someone confirm or tell me how I can find ?

I don't have ETKA to check supersession, check your diff plate & part numbers as per images against his.

Not sure what I am looking at

However I got the vin number of the car its on and my vin number and called vw to cross reference. They said it's the same part number so I guess I will be getting it.

                      Thanks for finding it

Cool look like they sent you everything including the haldex unit, just make sure your mechanic check both the diff & haldex unit oil levels before driving it.

                              Yeah will let him know.
So don't think he will need to replace oil as the car it came off only done 5k kms.

                              Thanks for all the help.
Will update you guys once it's fitted.
