Hey guys.. next problem: R36 built Dec 2009. Need to replace the motor to rear caliper, but I can't find any concrete advice to support whether it's a 6 or 12 teeth motor that I need to buy. Any help from you guys will be appreciated. I can't take off the original motor yet to check as I've F%$ rounded the screw. Thanks in advance.

Best to spend the 5 mins to undo the 2x bolts and pop the motor off to check the spline. According to Google, the R36 should use a 12 point spline on the motor. Apparently the lower spec Passats (with different rear brakes) use a 6 point spline on the motors.
TRW make a replacement 12 point version which is Part # STA1498

Automotive Superstore sell it for $111 https://automotivesuperstore.com.au/trw-sta1498
