The Aisin tiptronic gearboxes are supposed to be sealed for life. However they have transmission fluid in them, and it can benefit from being replaced. Worth a try however if you're starting to get some clunky shifts it's possibly the valve body is starting to go. The individual solenoids can be replaced if you really know what you're doing otherwise the valve body complete can be swapped. Or you can live with it...at least until it fails fully.
