I have recently added more information to the ongoing shuddering/vibration issues that I am continuing to experience with my 2012MY Passat Diesel Wagon - see http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...ml#post1278330
As I said in the post, the shuddering/vibration only occurs when in second and fourth gears. I am guessing that the cause of this is when the next gear (third or fifth) is being pre-selected.
Can anyone advise me when the pre-selection of the next impending gear actually happens. This will perhaps prove or disprove my guess...
The shuddering/vibration occurs at about the 25-50% mark of the interval between the second and third, and fourth and fifth gears only.
