Hey guys,
So my girlfriend drove my car for the first time yesterday (No issues
) and since she adjusted the mirrors for her, they are now not behaving like they used to!
So the previous behaviour was that I always leave the mirror adjustment knob in the Left position, pretty much permanently unless I switch to heater or fold them in. But whenever I am driving normally, it's on Left. This means that when I go into Reverse, the passenger mirror dips all the way down. When I go back into Drive, the mirror goes back to its previous position. I never have to touch the adjustment knob.
Now though, if I leave it in the L position, the mirror dips when I go into Reverse, but it stays dipped when I go back into Drive. The only way to get it to go back to normal is that I have to manually switch the adjustment knob into the centre position between L and R. So if I want to reverse dip now I have to switch it to L and to make it go back I have to switch it to centre. If I leave it in the centre position permanently it doesn't dip at all but I believe that part is correct behaviour.
Does anyone know why it's not working properly now? I assume I'm missing something obvious. I tried resetting the correct and dipped positions to memory, and the new positions did save, but I still have to use the knob to make it work now.
