  • What Battery do you use?

    Hey Guys,

I am looking at changing the battery on the R36 soon.

Just wondering if anyone has changed theirs recently and what they are using?

In the past, i've always just used NRMA batteries but this time want to look into it more and see if there is anything of more value for similar price.

    Thanks!

NRMA batteries are rebranded anyway, and usually fetch a premium because of it.

Go to an autoelectrician, they will sell you the right one and much cheaper than NRMA (in my experience)

I would never buy NRMA batteries, ever, ever. They just have a timer set -> dead right after warranty is expired. I've had 2 of them, exactly same. I found supercharge battery is very good afterward.

Get a SuperCharge for longest warranty (40mths)
You may need more than 66 model like 77 as I don have a R36

for instance :Supercharge GOLD PLUS MF66H, cars

        For Highest Capacity go Varta

if you live in the NSW get from this people (sales Varta and SuperCharge)

Varta Silver Dynamic (either the basic or the AGM version) or Bosch Silver (both same battery).

You'll have to double check the fitment as partno recommendations seem to be a bit all over the shop.

Batteries Direct have good prices on them....
