08R36 9W7 Bluetooth - Want to Purchase. Need advice

Hi everyone,
I don't want to start a war but I need a little help from anyone in the know. I have tried searching but haven't found an exact answer. I have an 08R36 and I have installed an RCD510 myself but I want to install a 9W7 Bluetooth as well. I think that there may be restrictions on what specific model I can use seeing as though I have the Red dot matrix screens. Does anyone have any experience with these and can advise me as to what revision of the kit I should be looking at buying as I don't want to go all the way only to find out that it doesn't work with my older car, or has it got to do with the RCD510 unit?
Any advice is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks guys.

Get the right one from carsystems.pl check the description, will tell you which one supports red mfd. Can post a direct link later if you can't find it.

Contact Vincent from VW_PARTS_AUS on Ebay. He can sort you out with the correct kit and then if you need it installing and coding give me a shout!

Yeah, thanks mate. The one for the red dot matrix is a little exxy at near on $500!!! Might have to keep looking around for someone local!!

I have 9w7 in my jetta 08 and to be honest the caller info and phone book on rcd/rns screen is fine. Dont really need it on the dash aswell

Thanks vdub. Yeah, not sure that the info on the dash is that critical. Yeah, i bought my reverse camera through vincent. Great to deal with

I actually prefer to have it on the mfd. Dialling numbers, phone book, last calls etc without lifting a hand off the steering wheel is handy and safer imo. up to you really or just get the older part number i think ends in 729b. would work just as well really just without a2dp and maybe something else.

I have 08 passat and an RCD510. I bought and fited a bluetooth from VIncent as well. It gives me full touch screen function on the RNS but no MFD display. Which for what it cost is no big deal, and it works really well.

These guys: https://jku.com.au/ Know everything there is to know about the audio/GPS systems - what works with what, what doesn't etc... I bought a 9W7 unit from them and had it installed by their rep in Sydney. Perfect, does all the expected functions etc.
