R36 Servicing in Sydney

    Just to close the loop on this, I ended up going to Precision Tuning in Brookevale on the recommendation of a Golf R owning friend. They were a bit more pragmatic about what actually needed to be done (low ks for that service interval, barely driven), bottom line is it ended up being $314. Very happy with the service and expertise (and obviously the cost), highly recommended.

      May I ask what was done?

      Mine is only at 39k about 3yrs now.

        I agree that there are certain items that can be postponed but if the car is 4 yrs & 53,000km then you are only 7,000km off what VW would expect you to have.

        Brake fluid flush would be due (2yrly intervals).
        DSG fluid & filter is due at 60,000km. If I had wet clutch DSG I'd be doing it every 45,000km.

        It sounds like they just did a basic service. If you're happy then fair enough.
