Fair enough Greg, I know an R32 owner that saw good improvements with the DSG post tune but by what you say, hit and miss
Still, money back with Viezu eh
The hardware is definately a must8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW

Mate I am just trying to be realistic, some NA cars have that little left in them, that the difference may be hard to notice, and that's from what I have heard / read. My limited direct experience so far with the tunes I have applied has been great, and I have a few raving fan NA customers, but best to be cautious in the "top end" NA cars like the R36, M3, AMG etc where they are highly tuned already from the factory. I can appreciate the OP's predicament.Originally posted by Candyman View PostFair enough Greg, I know an R32 owner that saw good improvements with the DSG post tune but by what you say, hit and miss

Still get HPX and Mr Viezu Australia on the right day and you can score some bargain hardware, there is a lot of development and testing going on that I'm not even privvy to! I am looking forward to it being released, it should be quite cost competitive, Sime is always asking me where things should be priced, and I'm all for being fair $$$ wise. I'm sure a good set of headers would be beneficial to the R36's, and HPX have made a few million of those over the years!Last edited by Greg Roles; 16-07-2012, 07:01 AM.2014 Skoda Yeti TDI Outdoor 4x4 | Audi Q3 CFGC repower | Darkside tune and Race Cams | Darkside dump pDPF | Wagner Comp IC | Snow Water Meth | Bilstein B6 H&R springs | Rays Homura 2x7 18 x 8" 255 Potenza Sports | Golf R subframe | Superpro sways and bushings | 034 engine mounts | MK6 GTI brakes |

Headers are interesting from all accounts - supersprint seem to be the only one who's had a commercial crack at design, and claim minimal gains. then you talk to their distributor locally who advises against it as one vehicle fitted lost power (5k for some nice aural notes please!!)
Maybe a bit more design work would do the trick, although not like supersprint are a Monday startup....
