No i mean do you need to have paddle shift already on car for them to work? I have a passat wagon tsi with just standard steering wheels.

They are very easy to attach, very easy. I'd suggest if you want them, get the eBay copies. Almost identical quality and look and considerably cheaper.
I have removed mine but only because I decided they weren't my thing, long term.8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW
