Looks great - Satin Chrome definitely suits the Mk5 Wheel. I'll probably order the Stainless Steel one next week.

I had a set of black S2T paddles on my MK5 GTi and now have a set on my R36 with Golf R steering wheel. Very well made, great quality and they feel solid as a rock! Just some feedback for those considering their optionsDino.

Got around to fitting mine today (was waiting for VW to replace my clutch pack):
Looks nice, feels nice, no getting in the way of the indicator/wiper stalks. My only disappointment when I received them was finding out the silver trim bits on the front are basically just stickers attached to the plastic. You have to be looking close to notice though. Yet to give them a thorough test...
The 3M 'tape' looks more like a very sticky type of chewing gum - doubt they'll fail in a hurry. (Plus they include a spare set of 3M tape)Last edited by Ryan_R; 06-07-2012, 05:27 PM.

i find that i drive with the paddles about 50% of the time, and when its me on my own in the car probably 95% of the time. they make a huge difference.
yours look great Ryan. i do like the aluminimum style. is it just a sticker on it? i never noticed. maybe that means i could peel the black part off mine? i would have preferred all silver on mine.

You'll need to first buy a steering wheel that has shifters anyway - didn't think the non-sporty cars had them as standard.

If you've got a steady hand it's dead easy
If you've got the shakes then best ask a friend to help

Did you read Page 4? Sticky 3M adhesive is used.
