Every thing was going/running well on the Little Beastie till yesterday when a metal on metal grinding noise started coming from the LHR wheel!!!!!!!!!!!!. The handbrake works fine so it must be the drums. Getting Michael at CVWC at Tuggers to check it out next Thursday.

Jack it up at the rear and spin the wheel independantly. I recon it's gonna be handbreak too.

I think so too. I was playing around with pulling the handbrake on and off at low speeds and the grinding noise ceased when I pulled it up when it was under load. I am not confident enough to fiddle with removing the drum housing so I will leave it with Michael at CVWC to check it out. Thanks for your input gents.

The new SEAT 1.8 is magic. Had a few teething problems, needing to replace old and perished bits and pieces that we did not change when we put the engine in.
I also Put in bosch 4 pin spark plugs and a decent set of leads, which has made a huge difference. Cant wait for Carbie and Exhaust.

Sure does! Michael at CVWC in Tuggeranong reckons it is a real goer. As I said before can't wait for the 32/36 carbie and the sports exhaust.
