I'm itching to do my front stage but I know I shouldn't spend the money!!
I'm leaning towards Hertz Mille 3-way's, Audison LRx4.1k, Dynamat Extreme, and maybe an Audison Bit Ten.... but I reckon my Wife would smash me for it if she noticed. Subwoofer is definitely too obvious, and I don't think the under seat Pioneer would keep up with the front stage....
Maybe if I start stashing a little cash here and there she won't notice! haha!
I really want to see how the car sits with Eibach Pro Kit springs too..
I've been trying to find out if lowering springs are bad for the adaptive chassis control but haven't found anything as yet

Good morning gents.
I've just picked up a B7 TDI Highline Wagon. Driving out of the showroom and onto the M4 for the first time I noticed some road noise from the stock tyres not present on the demo (or at least as I recall it). I think the stock tyres are 17 " Continentals. Can anyone suggest quieter tyres? I'm after the quietest and most comfortable in cabin experience I can find. I have taken on board Clip's suggestions re stereo and sound proofing the doors with dynamat.
Mine has the conti's too. Michelin Primacy LC's are supposed to be quiet, but haven't tested them. Just a suggestion with the wagon, someone in the Tig forum dynamatted the rear door and inside the rear side panels and got great results.
When I get the Maestro's put in I'll ask them to dynamat the areas you suggest.
@ Lams - thank you: I'll look up ECS & H&R Touring Cup kit.
I have got opti coat + wheels + inside being treated + 3m poly film (for stone chips) being applied as I type. All by Dave at reflect effect. I will report back on how it turns out.
I also bought a Gerni 145.2& Snow Foam Lance + Snow Foam. This forum is a problem )
I converted my interior lighting to LED, which is a bit bright but I got used to it. Makes it a lot easier to see in the car at night.
I find it strange that the Passat doesn't have footwell lights. My Golf has them.
+1 looks great dopey, I put mine in the other day (just waiting for an extra one for the centre). Looks much better.
I don't know why they didn't put footwell lights is either? The Tig has them. Must stick my head under and see if there is a spot for them. Maybe they come with the vision pack or something?
The LED's I got were from tunerdomes.com, I got them as part of a group buy on the vwgolf.net.au forum.
I got some for the number plate lights too but unfortunately even though they are the error canceling type I still got the number plate light warning so ended up taking them out for now until I find another solution.

I've tried a couple of other "error free" ones too dopey and they all still throw the error message. I've just ordered a couple of these that will be able to run continuosuly with no problems (hopefully) - just have to remove the inside rear panel to get to the wiring and find a good spot.
ordered the 15-25 OHM ones:
Looks great John! I actually saw this interior today but on a candy white Passat. It's great to see pics in a black one, looks fantastic! It took all my will power not to sign on the dotted lol. I really need to have a good drive of the V6 yet though, only been on a baby test drive. Man that leather is super soft!
