I haven't said anyone is right or wrong here and quite frankly I'm getting sick of the implication people think I'm always right. I'm NOT!
When I bought my car, the dealer went through everything with me and kept the LCT amount as low as possible. Hence I am discussing my experience - which is what this sort of forum is all about. Now there's a moderator of all people ridiculing that? What a wonderful place this forum has become, a place where if people disagree with you or think you're wrong, they can ridicule you, put words into your mouth and tell you how you're thinking. Point me to ONE place ANYWHERE where I have EVER said or implied that I'm always right........ You can't! Now quit being antagonistic!
Guys, can we please keep to the topic with regards to Dynaudio upgrade and not some debate regarding LCT.
Thank you.
Those who have forked out the extra for the Dynaudio and who have experienced the basic system as well seem to agree that it is money well spent. And it will cost you $2200 (2000 plus GST) on petrol Passats under $57000 (without dealer delivery and on roads), $2200 on diesel Passats up to around $75,000 and $2866 (2000 + 200 + 666 LCT) on a petrol Passats over $57000 before specifying the dynaudio.
Depends how much music you listen to, how much it means to you. how much you are willing to pay for it and becomes a matter of personal choice but the general opinion here and on other forums is that it is money well spent if you are really into in car music.
Will make no difference to the resale/trade in value in years to come.
You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.

I Beg to differ on that one, when I sold my R36, the guy specifically wanted one with Dynaudio, and so did the guy who turned up just as I had done the deal, I think I got a good price for my R36 because it had Dynaudio.

What exactly do you get with the Dynaudio upgrade? Is it the same number of speakers just different brand? $2000 is a bargin for a well tuned high end audio system as long as its more than 8 speakers.
