What did the Adrenalins set you back? I've heard good things about them.

Gees you guys must drive 'em hard. On my R36, I got 30k from my Conti's and they still had another 10-15k left minimum before I got rid of them (didn't like em that much).

Geez I changed my KU31's at 38k including a couple of track days and they were still legal
Either you are a hard driver or have an aligment issue

Could be a bit of both alignment and driving hard.... Fronts were ruined by 15k and the rears were like new

Run them at higher pressures than the car recommendations (usually the maximum allowable stamped on the tyre side wall - around 50psi for most brands nowadays).
Balance, rotate and align roughly every 10-15,000km.

That's about it. I'm not the world's fastest or hardest driver, but neither am I particularly gentle and a lot of the roads I drive on aren't exactly good quality - potholed, coarse aggregate, etc. Also run with a fully loaded car for long distances fairly regularly..

I normally get two new tyres for the R36 every year. They go on the front. The existing fronts move to the rear, and the rears go to the big tyre shop in the sky.

It's four years old and has less than 40000km on it, but I'm not complaining. I can't get to my house without driving along about 5km of twisties (seriously, there's no other way in) and that's often done enthusiastically. I'm using RE002's at the moment, they're pretty good. Might get more from these.

50000km from a set? Sounds like light truck all terrain tyres

Remember the treadwear number. My Kumho's have a number of 600 which is very high, the spare in the boot was a Pirelli P0 which had a rating of 220. The higher the number, the longer they last. I rotated the spare to the front and completed 11000km and the Pirelli was half stuffed while all the Kumho's have done 30000km and they still have 40-50% on them. If you have 50 profile tyres (235/50/17), run them around 36Psi around town or 40psi on the freeway which gives better rolling resistance but slightly less grip through corners.

I got 45k out of a set of Bridgestone RE050's - good grip too

And generally the higher the number the harder they are with less grip, especially in the wet

The RE002 are good fun but are soft and don't last very long
