Purchased the same (Dunlop Sport Maxx TT) about "1,000 kms ago", for similar price.

Must say I'm very happy to date. Good roadholding, there seems to be slightly better turn-in (compared to the P-Zero Rossos, OEM), feel smooth, and noise levels are low as well. Seems a bit harder to get involvement of traction control, too .

Got 45,000 out of the Pirellis, hope to achieve similar distance with the Dunlops.

Of course it's a FWD so regular rotation will help.

      Hi all,
Without spending a month cruising through the "war and peace" manual, can anyone tell me what the R36 tyre pressures should be highway driving?

It is on the inside of the fuel filler... I cant remember the numbers off the top of my head.

No Longer a VW Owner -Loving my new 2011 Range Rover Sport - bought as VW unable to provide info on the new Toureg despite it being released overseas 12 mths ago. 2008 R36 Wagon, 2006 GTI and 2004 R32 - Gone. Sorry VW, you make great cars but until you improve your customers' experiences you will lose customers

It's determined more on load rather than "hwy driving".

I also can't remember the exact settings recommended, but I have all four at 43psi all the time. Unless I'm at a track on going for a spirited drive - then it's 47psi all round. Hwy driving with 4 adults and luggage in the boot I do 44 front and 48 rear.

In regards to the Sumitoto ZIII's. Is there an issue with their load rating in a 19" size being only 91 when the load rating stated on the fuel filler cap for 18" tyres says 95 (it says that on my wagon anyway, the sedan might be different)?

I was looking to order a set of 19" wheels and Sumitomo tyres from tirerack but then noticed the load ratings.

It's only $325usd to ship a set of wheels with tyres mounted to regional QLD by the way
