Hi All,

I am currently negotiating on purchasing an R36 at the moment.

Was informed today that the next production build date for Australia is Week 45 (November) and delivery would be at best Jan 2010.

Is the production date specific to R36 or is this across the board for the Passat range??

I've just had confirmation that my order was placed on 8/7/09 but production date is Week 45. In the case of the latter, I'm guessing that my estimated date of delivery of 29/10 won't be met or even anytime after that .

My dealer was referring to the R36.

But if your dealer mentioned week 45 also for a normal passat it would not surprise me.

We should not expect them before February 2010.

Wow, that changes everything.

Kinda of suprising that the dealer quotes a estimated delivery date then confirming the production date later than that.

What a tool!!!

Looks like I'd be talking to him about the purchase contract in the next day.
