Without haggling also!!! Had to wait a couple of weeks for them to order in but I did this 3 weeks before picking up car so worked out well. Also gave me some extra comfort to see them working on other prestige euro models when I dropped my car off!!Originally posted by Swallowtail View PostThat's a brilliant price for an installed Fiscon...09 Passat R36 Sedan - Black, Sunroof, Dynaudio, SatNav, Kufatec Bluetooth.

Not mine, not anybody I know, but looks like you may pick it up at bargain basement price.

Got It!!!Originally posted by Breno View PostThe ebay fiscon went for $300. I was going to bid on it myself but didn't want to trump anybody here.
(well, waiting for it to be sent)
Now just need to get it installed!
I have just picked up some interior trim removal tools (nylon/plastic) and will now look to install myself. I am keen to put the microphone up in the OEM spot in the overhead console near the sunroof controls. Looks like a bit of hard work, has anyone tried this installation before?
Where did you place the Fiscon Box / Module?
Is the coding via VAGCOM easy enough to do?
PM sent to Swallowtail!

...ok.
- I now know how to remove the stereo.
(looks like there is enough room to place the module in the alvoce behind the stereo)
- A-Pillar is easy enough.
- Pulling apart the overhead console. Check.
- Just need to see how to run the loom from the overhead console to the top of the A-Pillar. Looks like I can undo the sunvisors, but maybe a long coat-hanger wire could feed under the headlining?
- Now just the wiring to the OEM Radio Loom (might need a hand with that.)
- Also feeding the microphone loom from the radio under the steering wheel console up to the A-Pillar, that looks a bit tricky also.
Now i just need to wait until I recieve the Fiscon Basic in the mail.
Happy for input on tips / tricks /advice.

Hey guys.
I recently have had the Kufatec Fiscon Basic Plus bluetooth installed in my r36 to replace the Nokia Basic system that VW had installed with the car.
The quality of the sound that comes out of the speakers now is noticeably different to the nokia unit as I use BlueTooth A2DP audio from my iphone.
The nokia unit outputted stereo with little or no loss. This Kufatec unit sounds a little crackly - almost like its peaking the input and its in mono.
Has anyone had any experience with sound quality with the kufa vs the nokia base UHV unit?
Also - another annoying thing is that everytime my phone makes a noise, when browsing through the phone it mutes the stereo for a minimum of 10 seconds or so. The nokia just used to play the sound over the top of things.
