Thank god for that.. I was getting worried for a while.. nothing showed up when googled the MY10 R36 with a supercharger in it.. Phew!
I would have had to spend more cash! To make it better

Thanks, I googled a few options a found some talk of it but nothing confiming it. I to was getting a bit worried because I just ordered mine so was hoping. Thanks again.
Just to let you know, i have had the ecu upgraded by evolve technik, a custom made exhaust was fitted to my r36 by evolve technik, and they also replaced the air inctake with a Gruppe M cold air intake. All in all they did a fantastic job and the car feels much more responsive off the line and in the high end above 100km/h. There website is http://www.evolve-technik.com.au speak to Neil, i cant praise them enough for the fantastic job.
Yep going for a custom full exhaust through him for the PoloGTi, should be good.
Hey Guys in regards to the ecu upgrade I rang Volks power today and they told me that they had APR out and they where developing an upgrade for the R36, due out probably end of the year ? I have read somewhere that I think Evolve have an upgrade to 235 KW and 380nm for about $1800. Sounds like alot of money for minor increase. Does anyone know if there is bigger output upgrade like 250 KW would be good, and how much etc or has anyone had it done ? Cheers.

Vossy. As a man who has flushed tens of thousands on mods to race and road cars, I have learnt a few things.
1. A car is engineered around its peak power (and torque). The engine, transmission, driveshaft, exhaust, diffs, etc are only designed to cope with a certain amount of stress. You can usually increase this safely by about 10% before parts start to wear quicker and over time things go wrong
2. The good news is, the car is desinged to run at this peak all day every day. So a good tuner will do amazing things with the power curve underneath that peak which makes the car far faster and far more drivable every day. They wont however increase the peak power and torque greatly so you dont risk the driveline.
As an example, my old man had a GT liberty. Peak power was increased 10kw which was great. The mid range however incresed 60kw which made the thing fly without putting further stress on the car. Admittedly this is a lot easier to achieve in a forced induction engine, but the theory stands.
I have seen crap tuners increase the peak power but do very little in the mid range which means that not only do you gain very little while waiting for the revs to max out, you are putting greater stress on the engine and driveline. Not worth it.
So when looking for a good tuner, always ask to see power graphs from their dyno so you can see exactly what you are getting for your money and how drivable the car will be, rather than relying on peak power figures. In reality they mean very little.
Thanks Gipper for the info. I actually spoke to Neil at Evolve today, he said he had a few cars there that I could check out. I will probably be happy with the car is when i get it. I previously had a mazda 3 MPS and intially wanted more power but after a while of having the car it started to sink in that once you get the bug you will always want more. So where does it end. So I gave up and decided to buy a European car for the quality which first on my check list along with allwheel drive. So now if I need a power boost I go for a spin on my mates R1 and I'm satisfied.

It seems as though a number of car were being modded by evolve, and the evolve test car was recently up for sale on carsales. Can anyone comment on their own personal experiences with the evolve exhaust and/or ecu upgrade? Torque and power don't seem much changed (and that's cool). However, is their any comment on changes in economy and/or performance?
