LOL... yup, the double-sided sticky tape is brilliant. I gave them the plates and the tape and he looked at me blankly and said "what's that for". I have no idea how much they used - I'll probably never be able to get them off!

Good to hear you're getting a satisfactory result. I was very worried before my pickup but thankfully it was all as ordered. And looking very nice in grey.

BTW, how did you get those plates? I was looking at Euro plates too but I was told they are not customisable.

They are available here in QLD like that - the Q.....Z is fixed... and the PR36 was available.

Swallowtail, fantastic vehicle! We've actually already changed our order to Icelandic Grey, your car really re-confirms that the decision was the right one for us. Happy to hear that you've reached a satisfactory outcome with the other issues. Enjoy it!

I picked up my second VW last week, a 147 Tiguan, and they forgot to put on Park Assist! They then deducted $1400 off the price for their stuff up!

Audio is sorted out, getting installed next Thursday.

Getting an Arc Audio ks125.4 power amp to sit under the passenger seat, and a set of 4 Alpine SPX17REF speakers, with an LC6i audio control unit to take the output from the RNS510 to the Arc Audio amp. All will look exactly stock, but won't sound like it...

Got it from the Gold Coast dealer, would be keen to have a listen to your audio upgrade if your ever on the coast!! Have been thinking of upgrading!!

Love your sig - "I only have 1 reverse light. Deal with it." LOL... my 9 yr old said to me this evening, "Dad, only one reverse light is working"...

Lol thanks... I always reverse park (as you can tell by the gaping hole in the rear bumper) and my friends always tell me!!!

I bought Mum's Golf GTI in Melbourne, drove it back to Adelaide, and had to get the guys at Regency to crawl all over it before it could be registered in South Australia.

One of the problems they found with a brand new car (the other was that they couldn't get to the engine number - no ****!) was that "one of your reverse lights is out" - and they were most hesitant of letting the car pass inspection :|
