I still love the aggressive look and stance of the 4.8is!

Just about to order a new R36 black wagon tomorrow. Fully optioned and also has iPod interface for $72500 driveaway. Now $73380 after a few added extras.

I think this is a reasonable deal!

Sounds good - what do you mean by "fully optioned"? Dynaudio, sat nav, auto tailgate, MDI, towbar... ?

Hi all, I never thought there would be an Aussie forum section dedicated to Passat's but there you go!

I have a quick question that I'll throw in this thread:

My wife and I are about to pull the trigger and buy a wagon, something modest yet nice.
How does this deal sound? We've been trying a few dealers and can't seem to do better at the moment with VW's 'free onroads' deals.

MY09 update 103kw TDI passat wagon in white
              Child booster seats
              Fog lights
              Carpet floor mats
              Tint

              for $46100 driveaway.

I've really only noticed the Passat this month after slowly looking for a wagon for the last 6-12 months so I'm not really sure of the usual 'going price' of a new one. Or would you guy's think that it might be worth hanging off for a few months when the dealers are a bit quieter and willing to sharpen their pencils a bit more...

No the broker didn't do any good, so it was left up to me!

By fully optioned I mean all the available factory options and I also had them add the MDI and iPod cable and weather shield.

Not suprising that, thanks for letting me know!

Hi Okisub, welcome to the group..

I picked mine up in September last year, ex-demo with about 5,000km on the clock, 125kW TDI (all the details are in my sig).. lease deal, but the finance amount on that was about $49K ($53K on the floor, rego, etc, with the fleet discount taken into consideration).

My mate was that impressed with the deal I got for mine that he ordered exactly the same car for exactly the same money today of the same salesman!

The only difference was that he got the blue

                        R36 price

                        Hi,

I am a newbie to this forum , I have a MY09 golf 103 TDi and looking to upgrade to R36. I have a couple of questions -

I was quoted 72K drive away for R36 sedan + Sat nav + sunroof is it a good price?

Do u have any rattling issues with R36 ( I had heaps of issues with my Golf)?

Is that price inclusive of the roof and sat nav? I got the same two options on my sedan for $70k drive away last April but that was for stock the dealer had on the showroom floor.

                          No rattles in mine.

Should be able to do better than that.

The import tarif reduction of 5% should be passed on to you in some amount and you should look for under 70k.

Yup. I didn't have the lowered import tarif when I bought mine, but I reckon you're doing well around $68k - $72k drive away.

Yap, that includes satnav + sunroof. will try a couple of other dealers as well , the quote I got was from chatswood classic cars in sydney.
